Description:

We’re looking for a collaborative, service-oriented HR Generalist & Recruiter who loves building relationships, supporting employees, and finding top talent. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day—balancing recruiting, employee support, systems work, and cross-departmental collaboration.


As an HR Generalist & Recruiter, you’ll manage the full recruitment lifecycle—sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding, while also supporting broader HR functions across the employee life cycle. You’ll partner closely with hiring managers, HR Business Partners,and other HR team members to ensure a fair, equitable, and positive experience for both candidates and employees.  


Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the end-to-end hiring process, from job posting to onboarding.
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers and guide them on recruitment best practices.
  • Manage our applicant tracking system, ensuring clean data, accurate reporting, and a smooth experience for candidates.
  • Screen applicants, coordinate interviews, conduct phone screens, and participate in interview panels.
  • Write compelling job postings, interview questions, and offer letters.
  • Ensure all candidates have a positive and inclusive hiring experience—regardless of the outcome.
  • Provide support to employees throughout the employee life cycle.
  • Assist with employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws.
  • Partner with HR Generalists, HR Business Partners, and Learning & Development on programs, processes, and special projects.
  • Help manage onboarding and facilitate learning opportunities for internal candidates exploring new roles.
  • Update employee data in the HRIS and support reporting needs.
  • Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and recommend process improvements to minimize risk.
  • Support affirmative action program development and record maintenance.
  • Provide excellent internal customer service and contribute to special HR department initiatives

 

Requirements:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent HR professionally at all times.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with both candidates and internal partners.
  • Knowledge of state and federal employment laws and recruitment best-practices. 
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with the highest level of integrity.
  • Initiative and strong prioritization skills, including excellent time-management, multitasking, problem-prevention, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work with co-workers, clients, and outside agencies professionally and tactfully.
  • Possess a work ethic that includes neatness, punctuality, and accuracy.
  • Exhibit a professional, businesslike appearance and demeanor.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years HR experience, including recruiting and employee relations.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
  • Experience in the financial industry preferred.
  • Must possess a valid Oregon driver’s license and be bondable.

Exempt starting pay: $64,300 - $71,505 annually, depending on experience.


Typical Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. 

This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule (2 days remote and 3 days onsite per week)
