Responsibilities
- Modeling of custom mechanical parts and assemblies in Creo
- Perform hands-on tasks such as prototype building
- Execute mechanical testing on new products
- Perform design tweaks to improve design quality and facilitate easier assembly
- Support documentation and part specification for existing products
- Write visual aids and notebooks to guide Production during assembly
- Part verification and documentation of assembly tolerance stack analysis
- Multi task at a high level; drive 5-10 small (dynamic) projects in parallel
- Work with Engineering and Quality teams to gain consensus on part changes
Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Drafting, Mechanical Design, Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, or related field required
- Minimum cumulative 3.00 GPA required
- Related work experience preferred but not required
- Computer skills required: General (MS Word and Excel), Advanced Excel skills are a plus
- Experience with 2D/3D CAD software is a preferred, Pro/Engineer - CREO experience is a plus
