Position: Equipment Quality Intern
Location: Equipment & Assembly Plant – Pittsburgh, PA
Hours of work: Full-time position with hours generally Monday through Friday 8:00 AM-4:00 PM

Overview
Our internship program provides real-world experience enabling future professionals the ability to apply what they are learning in school, to applicable situations in a career field they are pursuing. This internship program helps interns gain additional skills that can be applied to future jobs.
The Equipment Quality Intern supports end-to-end quality control for fabrication projects—assisting with QC inspection prep, documentation and record keeping, and continuous improvement and compliance efforts. As part of the QC group, this role works closely not only with the QC group but with Production and Engineering to help keep projects on schedule while meeting quality, documentation, and traceability requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):

- Continuous Improvement & Compliance

- Punctual, reliable, detail-oriented, flexible, and adaptable to change
- Self-motivated and able to acquire new skills quickly
- Skilled in analyzing problems in a systematic and timely manner
- Ability to look for creative ways in offering new approaches
- Self-sufficient, self-motivated, and capable of multi-tasking
Relevant Fields of Study - Working towards a bachelor’s degree or higher in:
- Engineering
OR:
- Quality Management with a minor in Project Management/Technical Writing
Qualifications
