The Director, Revenue Share & NIL Operations assists with the administration of NIL and revenue share operations within Pitt Athletics, ensuring accurate data entry, compliant disbursements, and secure recordkeeping across all related agreements. The position serves as a primary resource for student-athletes, coaches, and staff on NIL policies and revenue share frameworks, while collaborating cross-functionally with compliance, financial aid, and athletics administration to support seamless, regulation-aligned operations.
Job Summary
Assists with direction of a large department or multiple, small departments within Athletics. Assists with and ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and objectives. Maintains budget, authorizes expenditures, and certifies reports. Assists with strategic planning and other department-wide projects.
Essential Functions
- Ensure the execution, organization, and secure storage of all revenue share agreements, ensuring compliance with institutional policies and applicable regulations
- Enter all revenue share agreements and payments into CAPS
- Coordinate and execute disbursements through CAPS, verifying eligibility and proper authorization prior to release of funds
- Track non-earned revenue share agreement payments, ensure CAPS is updated accordingly, and affected payments are not disbursed
- Input financial aid data into the CAPS system
- Monitor and track the submission and approval/denial of third-party deals to NILGO by student-athletes
- Serve as point of contact for student-athletes with NIL Front Office inquiries
- Serve as an educational resource for student-athletes, coaches, and staff on NIL policies, revenue share frameworks, and compliance requirements
- Stay current on evolving CSC, NCAA, conference, and institutional NIL and revenue share regulations to inform operational decisions
- Maintain organized and confidential records across all NIL and revenue share activities, supporting institutional reporting needs
Collaborate with compliance, financial aid, and athletics administration to ensure seamless operational workflow
