Under the guidance of the Assistant Director for Student Media Programs and the Communication Studio Production Manager, the Student Media Advisor collaborates with faculty in the Department of Communication to enhance academic learning in media production through the expansion of Villanova University with the Cabrini Campus. This position supports Villanova students enrolled in Communication courses as well as Villanova students involved in student media organizations. This position is also responsible for training, supporting, and supervising students engaged in media creation and managing media spaces and equipment, including media labs, television studios, radio stations, classrooms, and recording and editing bays. The Student Media Advisor provides direct advising and support for Villanova’s student television station, VTV. Villanova is a Catholic university sponsored by the Augustinian Order. | Salary Posting Information: | This position falls within salaried grade 13 and the range for this position is $51,000-63,800. The final salary will be determined with consideration of several factors including the selected candidate’s qualifications, department budget availability, market data, and internal equity. |
