Transportation/Operations Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Transportation Supervisor to lead daily operations, support team performance, and drive revenue execution within a fast-paced environmental services operation. This role requires a hands-on leader who can balance transportation logistics, people leadership, customer relationship management, and financial accountability.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily transportation and  hauling operations
• Lead, coach, and develop drivers and field personnel to  ensure safe, efficient execution
• Build strong relationships with customers and act as a  primary operational point of contact
• Quote hauling work and support pricing decisions to  drive profitable growth
• Develop and manage weekly and monthly revenue forecasts
• Monitor route efficiency, productivity, and cost  performance
• Ensure compliance with safety, DOT, and company  operational standards
• Partner with dispatch and sales teams to maximize  booking opportunities
• Respond to customer issues and operational challenges  with urgency and professionalism

  

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $95,000 - $105,000yearly at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory experience in transportation, logistics, waste, or environmental services
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to hold teams accountable and develop bench strength
• Proven ability to forecast revenue and manage operational performance
• Experience quoting hauling, transportation, or  service-based work
• Strong CRM mindset — customer-focused, responsive, and  relationship-driven
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and fleet operations  preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, field-driven  environment
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving  skills
