At PDS Optical, we don't just provide eyewear - we provide care, respect, and service to our Veterans. We're looking for a South Carolina Licensed Optician to join our Charleston team and make a meaningful impact every day. 

Why You’ll Love This Role

• $28-$32/hour
• $3,000 Sign-On Bonus
$1,500 after hire $1,500 after 6 months 
• Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• NO nights. NO weekends.
• Work in a professional VA medical environment 

What You’ll Do

• Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and compassionate service to our Veterans 
• Fit, adjust, repair, and dispense eyewear with precision 
• Deliver an exceptional patient experience every visit 
• Collaborate with a supportive optical team
• Maintain compliance with VA security and background requirements 

What We’re Looking For

• Active South Carolina Optician Licensed (required)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Experience with lensometers, pupilometers, and optical software
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment 
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and service-driven
• Knowledge of VA optical benefits (preferred, not required)
