We are currently seeking Staff Technician 1 to support site maintenance activities on a site in Beaufort, South Carolina. Duties for this position include inspection of site access, paths, boundary, access gates, fencing and signage. This position will also include coordination of grass cutting along access paths. This is a temporary/on-call position located remotely in Beaufort, South Carolina.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
In this position, you will:
- Independently conduct site maintenance activities.
- Work closely with the site project manager to identify site issues.
- Document site conditions with email updates and photographs as appropriate.
- Perform all work in accordance with company and client health and safety protocols.
- Demonstrate the company’s foundational safety behaviors.
- Coordinate with subcontractors as appropriate.
- Work and schedule resources collaboratively with project teams.
- Comply with the Guiding Principles and Code of Behavior articulated in our Company Charter.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Minimum Skills and Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Able to meet the physical requirements of the position: lift 50 lbs., traverse unstable/sloping sites and landscapes, work outside in a range of weather conditions, and have the stamina for moderate physical activity for the majority of field working hours.
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training preferred
- Ability to convey observations and produce accurate and concise field notes, logs, data sheets and reports on activities.
- Must possess a valid driver's license, have a reliable form of transportation to travel to job sites.
- Self-starter.
