The Treasury Intern will gain significant knowledge and experience in enterprise cash handling and gain real-world business experience and skills that will prepare them for their future career. This role will provide support through experiential learning.
Responsibilities
- Learn the ins and outs of the cash applications, imaging, credit, and collection departments
- Support the treasury team in executing cash management activities.
- Updating and maintaining financial databases with accurate information.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure new and existing accounts are being appropriately serviced.
- Shadow experienced professionals to gain insights into the industry and company operations.
- Supporting the treasury team in various ad-hoc projects and assignments as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to take verbal/written instruction and execute with confidence
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as a team when needed.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer service skills.
Education/Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Pursuing higher education in business administration, finance or similar field preferred.
- Prior customer service experience a plus
