POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Tool Crib Associate to join our dynamic team at Petmate. The Tool Crib Associate will support manufacturing and inventory operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and stakeholder satisfaction. This role involves managing product flow, maintaining inventory integrity, assisting with order processing, and upholding a safe, clean work environment.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Key Responsibilities:

· Receive products from multiple sources and maximize cube space during put‑away.

· Process back orders to fulfill stakeholder orders and meet readiness timelines.

· Pick, stage, and prepare stakeholder orders to achieve service goals and expectations.

· Track items removed from the crib to maintain accurate records.

· Perform routine inventory counts to ensure accuracy.

· Maintain an organized work area along with trash collection/disposal to maintain a clean, professional environment.

· Assist stakeholders with product pick‑up and deliver excellent service.

· Resolve stakeholder issues promptly to retain and promote work efficiency.



SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE


Experience/Qualifications:


· High School Diploma or equivalent

· 1 year experience in manufacturing or distribution background

· Proficiency with computerized scanning equipment and PC-based programs

· Strong customer service orientation

· Strong attention to detail

· Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds regularly

Our facility operates with machinery that can be loud and requires ear protection and eye protection. The manufacturing environment can be fast-paced and physically demanding, with exposure to various materials and processes that may result in a dirty workspace. We prioritize safety and cleanliness, providing all necessary protective gear and maintaining strict hygiene standards. Despite the challenging conditions, we foster a collaborative and supportive atmosphere where teamwork and professional growth are highly valued.
