OverviewLutron Ketra has immediate openings on 2nd shift for Manufacturing Assembly - Technical Assistants at our facility in Austin, TX. In this position you would be a key part of the Operations team. You will build a career with a high-tech company working in a hands-on environment. You will have the opportunity to rotate through multiple departments, gaining exposure to the broad range of equipment, processes, and technologies employed in our operation.

Manufacturing Assembly - Technical Assistant:
Responsibilities
- Perform assembly, testing and verification of electronic assemblies in a technical, computer-based environment and ensure quality of final product
- Execute production schedules and highlight issues for quality and output improvement
- Communicate status of operation and improvements in a timely manner to leaders
- Work in a team environment to implement improvement ideas
- Utilize the computer-based system to enter inventory and production transactions
- Utilizes continuous improvements and assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
- Maintain safe and clean work environment by adhering to established policies and procedures
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Flexibility to work on 2nd Shift (2:30pm-11pm) and overtime as needed
- Capability to lift and move boxes of product up to 35 lbs.
- Ability to stand for an extended period of time
- Ability to move to surrounding workstations
- Ability to read and follow work instructions in English
- Ability for continuous learning
- Knowledge of semiconductors or Surface-mount technology (SMT) and clean room procedures is a plus
