Learfield is seeking a Senior Sponsorship Measurement Analyst to serve as a subject matter expert in analyzing and communicating sponsorship performance. This role will be responsible for evaluating and presenting measurement data—including return on investment and impression value—to support Corporate Sales teams and select brand partners. The Senior Analyst will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to assess how sponsorship assets have performed or are expected to perform. This role reports to the Senior Director, Pricing, Valuation, & Inventory Strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute end-to-end full asset valuations as prioritized by Sales Leadership
  • Represent the Revenue Strategy and Operations group as a Sponsorship Measurement Subject Matter Expert with direct explanations of numbers and brainstorming storytelling ideas to National sales team and a select number of brands
  • Ensure the measurement outputs are “presentation ready” with guidance from sellers and Sales leadership
  • Develop a working knowledge of in-house media measurement tools, incorporating key data inputs reflecting industry best practices and media measurement standards (e.g. CPMs and quality indexing) including HIVE and Critical Mentions
  • Apply expertise in quantitative analysis, data exploration, and the presentation of data to understand and communicate to measurement national stakeholders including brand stakeholders
  • Work with the Senior Director Sponsorship Pricing, Valuation, and Inventory Strategy to help optimize the data integration and modeling steps to ensure data sources best support measurement end use cases
  • Support the National Sales and PM team on mid-year, and end of season recaps and presentation
  • Coordinate data aggregation from internal and external data sources for analytics and reporting purposes
  • Maintain and recommend enhancements on Tableau dashboards to demonstrate sponsorship performance and ROI across an extensive network of school properties and brand partners
  • Reinforce and shape the vision for what information should be shared, when, with whom, by what mechanisms, and at what level of detail
  • Serve as the main point of contact surveying for the national sales team
  • Partner with other internal teams to drive fan surveys, focus groups, and market research studies to evaluate the impact of sponsorship activations
  • Other Duties as Assigned

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence role preferably in sports, media, or entertainment
  • Proven ability to use data to analyze, summarize, and communicate results to support business decisions
  • Familiarity with valuation tools for various marketing channels, including in-person events, social media, digital campaigns, TV, etc. is preferred
  • Skilled at creating tailored communications for different audiences, including internal sellers, brand partners, management, and data analysts
  • Working knowledge of Tableau is a plus
  • Experience in the sports/sponsorship industry preferred, including knowledge of sports sponsorship inventory and the sponsorship sales process
  • Background in survey execution and survey data reporting
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical mindset with great attention to detail
  • Reliable project management abilities, including scheduling, prioritization, hitting deadlines and risk assessment, while engaging stakeholders
  • Able to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Familiarity with SQL and databases

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Data Management, Sports Management, Communications or related field
