Overview

Sev1Tech is seeking an Operations Specialist, Senior/Lead. The Operations Specialist candidate is a member of the Field Office Fort Hood Operations and Mission Support Cell (OMSC) and serves as a technical expert in all operational areas relevant to the project. Candidate must be capable of demonstrating experience in conducting analysis, planning, solution development and execution of current and future FOFH mission requirements. As an OMSC member, the candidate contributes to, produces, reviews, distributes, and maintains operational and technical documentation in support of PM IS&A and FOFH missions, and Contract Deliverable Requirements List (CDRL) items. Candidate must demonstrate detailed working understanding of the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) and Army Acquisition Life Cycle Management (LCM) planning cycles and the specific FOFH Operations artifacts. The Candidate conducts or contributes to FOFH Knowledge Management activities and should understand how to apply information technology solutions in support of FOFH operations. The successful candidate must be able to coordinate with military, government civilians and contract personnel at all levels of the Army, and be able to effectively plan and lead meetings, IPRs, and briefings using A365 Teams, telephonically, or in-person.

When tasked or assigned, the candidate may serve as a primary Point of Coordination (POC) between the FOFH Staff and the Project Manager (PM), Intelligence Systems and Analytics (PM IS&A), Readiness Management Division (RMD) and Product Manager (PdM)/Product Lead (PdL) Staffs in all matters related to FOFH support of PM, IS&A activities.The candidate is responsible to the OMSC Manager for developing plans, briefs and other products associated with FOFH-specific support to the PM, IS&A capabilities portfolio lines of effort (LoE) to satisfy the government customer intent as directed by FOFH leadership.Candidate will utilize various project management concepts and techniques to ensure timely execution and completion of required tasks and information requirements.Candidate coordinates with other FOFH support sections, such as SETA Fielding Coordinators, Training & Training Support, Combined Logistics Team, IT, Security and Facilities, to ensure all assigned FOFH support milestones are met. Candidate provides input to and coordinates with other Army Staff and Intelligence Community of Interest stakeholders and participates in meetings and briefings related to the PM, IS&A project.



Responsibilities

  • This position requires a bachelor's degree with some technical concentration plus 5 years of relevant experience. 8 years of direct relevant experience may be substituted for education.
  • Experience in operations, planning or acquisition within the Department of War.
  • Must be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
  • Knowledge of PM, IS&A Portfolio Family of Systems and emerging capabilities.
  • A proven track record of understanding systems analysis, management of organizations, training and training management, and an understanding of intelligence systems and capabilities.
  • Must have a detailed understanding of fielding operations and have a proven ability to plan and execute fielding of intelligence systems.
  • The preferred candidate must have the ability to understand and implement logistics program activities including Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), technical documentation; assist in coordination efforts of subcontractors and field service personnel; resolve logistics problems.
  • Experience compiling data and preparing reports and schedules.


Qualifications



  • Detailed knowledge of program fielding, installation, operation, training and direct support to customers in diverse environments is also plus.
  • Military experience a plus
