Job Summary:

We are always looking for new ideas and people who are passionate about their craft. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Manager IT to join our team. The position is responsible for overseeing Garland's IT Team. The role is focused on supporting infrastructure, ensuring security, efficiency and reliability of all IT systems within the Garland facilities. This role includes managing IT support, providing network administration, software implementation, and cybersecurity. The Sr. IT Manager will also lead technology projects, support end-users, and align IT strategies with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Mentoring
  • Manage small local team as part of the larger REPKON USA IT department
  • Provide leadership and mentoring for the team in Garland.
  • This is a technical, hands-on working leader for the Garland site.
  • Support the Executive Team providing technical project updates
IT Infrastructure Management
  • Maintain and upgrade IT systems, networks, and servers.
  • Ensure high availability, security, and performance of all IT assets.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
IT Support & Helpdesk Operations
  • Provide technical support to the local IT Team, employees, resolving hardware and software issues.
  • Manage IT service requests and ensure timely resolution.
  • Support development and administration of IT policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
Cybersecurity & Data Protection
  • Support and help implement/maintain the company cybersecurity measures to protect company data.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection laws and best practices.
  • When required, help conduct security audits and risk assessments.
Software & Application Management
  • Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and updates of business applications.
  • Manage licensing and subscriptions for enterprise software.
  • Collaborate with departments to optimize software solutions and help to identify elevated options.
IT Project Management
  • Lead IT-related projects such as system migrations, new technology implementation, and process automation.
  • Coordinate with vendors and external service providers as needed.
  • Ensure projects align with company objectives and are completed on time and within budget.
IT Strategy & Planning
  • Support the development of IT policies, procedures, and long-term technology roadmaps.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices.
  • Provide recommendations for IT investments and budget planning.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Requirements/Skills:
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years' IT experience, with at least 2 years people or project management experience.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of network administration, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure.
    • Experience with Windows/Linux operating systems, cloud computing, and virtualization.
    • Ability to manage IT projects and lead a technical team.
    • Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
    • Familiarity with ERP software (e.g., CIMA/Costpoint).
    • Capacity and interest in learning new IT platforms, technologies, etc.
  • Leadership:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Positive influence that holds team accountable for meeting commitments, and accuracy and integrity of work.
    • Supports team development and learning.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with contract deadlines.
    • Acts with integrity, works collaboratively, meets commitments, and supports continual improvement.
Preferred Experience
  • Certifications:
    • Certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA, CCNA, or CISSP.
    • Experience with ERP systems and enterprise software management.
    • Knowledge of compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
Other Requirements:
  • Travel: Infrequent - Possible visits to other REPKON USA locations.
  • Work Environment: Primarily factory forge area, requiring oversight of high temperature and heavy equipment operations.
  • Background Investigation / Drug Screen / US Person: Required.
