Shift: 2nd (Second)
Pay: $29.82
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Disassembly of equipment at the direction of supervising personnel with or without reference documentation.
- Assembly of equipment at the direction of supervising personnel with or without reference documentation.
Skills and qualifications required include the following but are not limited to:
- Basic knowledge of welders, hydraulic presses, mechanical presses, vertical and horizontal presses, thermal processing equipment, chemical pre-finish type processing equipment, manual and CNC equipment and finishing equipment of various sizes and models.
- Knowledge of wheelabrator and other shot blast type equipment.
- Welding MIG & STICK
- Experience in electrical wiring and troubleshooting.
- Use of all precision measuring instruments such as verniers and micrometers.
- Must be capable of interfacing with production personnel and the technical staff both n the maintenance and tooling organization.
- Mechanical troubleshooting of equipment with particular reference to tooling, fixtures and dies as it applies. Following instructions on the lubrication of equipment and components.
- Requires the ability of installation, repairs and operations of hydraulic forging presses, side cylinder and trim press. Gas stock ovens, gas and electric age ovens, electric heat furnaces. Band and cut-off saws, pneumatic and electrical hoist, and lubrication to machinery.
- Requires the ability and knowledge of torch cutting and rod welding.
- Requires working knowledge of the CIMA system to assure correct labor and maintenance reporting. Requires the ability to troubleshoot and repair age ovens, furnaces and stock ovens.
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical tools.
- Must understand pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic schematics.
- Must be able to work from elevated platforms.
- Working knowledge of general hydraulic systems and troubleshooting, piping and installation.
- Licensed to operate a forklift.
- Interpretation of prints and ability to work off of prints and concept sketches.
Education & Experience:
- High school education or equivalent with working knowledge on mechanical elements of equipment.
- At least five (5) years' experience in a related industry with the type of work described herein. Exhibit leadership ability.
Work environment:
- Elevated temperatures, thick smoke, dirt and grease.
- Physically able to lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Handling materials up to 900 degrees with proper tools.
- High paced production environment to meet standards.
Requirements:
