GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Monitor, supervise, and inspect installations ensuring quality/proper installation techniques are taking place and agreed upon deadlines are met; assist with the installation of Architectural Solutions products. Conduct daily site visits to ensure high quality installation, maintenance and service work as well as customer satisfaction levels. Ensure all installation personnel are properly trained, well groomed, and performing their duties safely and efficiently under the direction of a Field Operations Manager/Project Manager.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist Field Operations Manager and Project Manager in the overall planning & coordination of installation project by reading blueprints, floor plans and installation drawings to determine best method and sequence of installation; in the absence of Project Manager, act on his/her behalf to meet project deadlines. Make daily jobsite visits prior to and during to installations to determine field dimensions and site readiness. Assist Field Operations Manager in the creation of punch list to facilitate project completion.

Review job details with Field Operations Manager to ensure all materials and necessary equipment is securely loaded

Attend & verify Installation Contract crews are conducting Tool Box/JSA meetings each morning, providing input as needed and stressing the importance following Jobsite rules & regulations, as well as sharing Project and/or safety information from Foreman meetings.

Responsible for all company property assigned to their crew and contractors.

Assist with the receipt and check-in of Architectural Solutions product on direct-to-jobsite deliveries.

Maintain line of communication with Field Operations Manager, Project Manager and Customer Service Coordinator; communicate daily with Installation team regarding progress, issues, and concerns with project. Communicate shortages, damages, and change orders to Field Operations Manager and Project Manager.

Attend monthly safety meetings & weekly jobsite GC/Foreman meetings, providing progress updates to GC & addressing any issues/concerns

Coordinate with Drywall, Paint/Finish, Electricians, HVAC, & Data Contractors regarding any possible work required in connection with our install.

Assist in evaluating installation employees/contractors and provide timely feedback

Enforce company rules and regulations and safety requirements.

Regularly train and develop crew personnel on the jobsite regarding installation procedures, quality service, safety guidelines etc.

Maintains all monthly and random drug testing and background program requirements

KEY SELECTION AND SUCCESS FACTORS

WORK EXPERIENCE:

At least 3 years’ related work experience, strong preference for at least 2 of years performing Architectural Solutions installation

1+ years of supervisory experience

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Degree or equivalent, some college preferred

Complete and maintain customer site specific badge requirements

Have the ability to drive company vehicles complying with McCoy-Rockford’s driving standards and maintaining a clear driving record

OTHER/PREFERRED:

Excellent communication and facilitation skills

Good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

Ability to multi-task and work with many interruptions

Exceptional interpersonal skills

Ability to speak to groups effectively and maintain audience interest

Able to learn and pass safety driver training program
