Job Summary

Business Title: PROPERTY Tech

AMENTUM is seeking a Government Property Tech to support operations for the Facility Contract (FC) at the Johnson Space Center, Ellington Field, and the Sonny Carter Training Facility.

Principal Responsibilities of the Classification:

Comply with the terms of contract provisions that specify the company’s obligations to acquire, control, use, care for, report and dispose of property. Perform audits, documents processes and procedures and investigates and reports lost or damaged property to Property Manager. Coordinates the physical inventory of government property and reconciles results to ensure compliance with regulations. Mitigate problems, handle special requests, gather data for reports and insure timely submissions. Ensures compliance by AMENTUM, related to the Property Administration requirements as directed by Property Manager.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED Experience in database entry. Knowledge of various computer programs required (ex: Word, Excel, etc.) and working experience with spreadsheets. Excellent oral and written communications; must be able to effectively communicate in English. Knowledge of policies, regulations and techniques related to the control of government property. Excellent time management skills. Ability to multi-task.

Reasoning Ability:

  • Must be able to effectively read, write, interpret, and explain technical data.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations (others as required):

  • Must possess, and maintain, a valid Texas driver’s license.
  • Must be able to obtain, and maintain, NASA Badge for JSC site access.

Preferred Qualifications:

1+ years of experience with Government Property

Physical Demands (but not limited to):

  • The AMENTUM Property Tech must be free of medical restrictions/limitations that prevent the performance of the required duties.
  • Lift up to 40 pounds and occasionally work outside.
  • Handling: seizing, holding, grasping, or otherwise working with hand(s).
  • Repetitive motions: making frequent movement with a part of the body.
  • Must be physically capable of performing the work in conditions of extreme temperatures.

Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the AMENTUM Property Tech may be exposed to abnormal office conditions. When visiting site locations, employee may be exposed to extreme weather conditions, loud noise, or are required to wear personal protective equipment. Work is typically performed indoors and outdoors, and storage areas.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite.

       

Compensation Details:

56,000
