Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of project managers assigned to strategic programs and client implementations.
- Ensure the team adheres to standardized project methodology, tools, and best practices.
- Assign resources effectively across projects, ensuring alignment with budget, timeline, and scope.
- Drive accountability by ensuring timely completion of all project tasks, milestones, and deliverables.
Project Delivery & Execution
- Maintain endtoend ownership of the implementation lifecycle for multiple concurrent client projects.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project artifacts—including timelines, schedules, RACI, agendas, status reports, and training plans.
- Utilize Microsoft Project (or equivalent tools) with expert proficiency to track progress and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
- Ensure all business and functional requirements are documented, versioncontrolled, and stored in accessible systems (ServiceNow, Azure, JIRA, etc.).
- Partner closely with Product, IT, Retail teams, and Operations to ensure smooth project execution.
Client Engagement & Communication
- Serve as a primary point of contact for client implementations, effectively managing client expectations and fostering strong relationships.
- Facilitate key milestone meetings including kickoff, requirements sessions, cutover planning, and deployment support.
- Communicate project status clearly and consistently to stakeholders, leadership, and crossfunctional partners.
Risk, Issue & Quality Management
- Proactively identify risks, roadblocks, and dependencies; develop mitigation strategies and escalate as needed.
- Review technical and business documentation for accuracy, quality, and alignment with project objectives.
- Conduct postimplementation reviews to identify efficiencies, process gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
Technical, Operational & Strategic Contributions
- Apply industry trends and knowledge of financial services, payments, and healthcare to enhance client solutions.
- Manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
Other Duties
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support evolving business needs.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as an Implementation Manager, Project Manager, or subject matter expert in complex technical environments.
- Experience in card processing, payments, or healthcare strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- PMP certification or active pursuit of certification preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Office 365, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, ServiceNow, Confluence, JIRA, and similar project tools.
- Working knowledge of technical system concepts and integrations.
- Strong communication, organization, and problemsolving skills with the ability to influence without authority.
