CALIBRE Systems, Inc., an employee-owned mission focused solutions and digital transformation company, is looking for a highly motivated Scrum Master to join our dynamic team supporting a federal client. This role requires an innovative and collaborative mindset, with the ability to work closely with designers, back-end engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable digital solutions. The budgeted salary for this role is $135,00.00 per year. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: · Facilitates and guides the product owner, development team, and organization on using Agile/Scrum concepts, values, practices, and principles to improve team effectiveness · Encourages completion of work without coercion, assigning, or dictating tasks · Facilitates discussions, decision-making, and assists with conflict resolution · Leads and guides the team on maximizing self-organization · Provides support using a servant leadership style, leads by example, and demonstrates value-add principles · Assesses Scrum maturity of the team and organization; coaches them to higher levels at a sustainable pace · Builds a trusting and safe environment where issues can be raised without fear of blame or judgment, emphasizing healing and problem-solving · Responds to and removes impediments or finds resources to remove obstacles that hinder the team’s goals (e.g., ensuring down computers are restored quickly) · Identifies differences and issues as they arise and escalates them to management · Makes tough calls as a voice of reason and authority, ensuring adherence to Agile/Scrum principles · Works, collaborates, and communicates effectively internally and externally to improve transparency and share information · Organizes and facilitates meetings, including preparation, moderation, and post-processing · Assists with product release planning and enforces deadlines · Supports and educates the product owner, particularly in grooming and maintaining the product backlog and release plan · Continuously improves personal skills, learning new tools and techniques to manage oneself and enhance team performance
· Experience with common Agile tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Mural, and Trello · Strong verbal and written communication skills · Proficiency facilitating Agile ceremonies in a remote environment · Collaborative leadership and coaching practices
· Current SAFe Scrum Master certification (SAFe Pracitioner certification a plus) · Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Business, IT, or other related field · 5+ years facilitating Agile practices on technical teams, preferably within the Scaled Agile Framework · 5+ years of experience working with Federal agencies (preferably healthcare and/or data-centric projects) · Proficiency aligning Agile practices with Federal compliance standards (including acquisition, security, and/or FedRAMP standards) · Active Secret Clearance at the Department of Defense (or eligibility to obtain a clearance) · Ability to work east coast business hours (8am-5pm)

Basic working knowledge (i.e. ability to understand, speak about, and participate in solutioning) of the following domains: data science, the software development life cycle, data privacy (specifically PII/PHI), Federal data policies, the Tricare Military Health System
