Amentum is seeking an experienced professional to support TTO leadership as an Action Officer.  This role will directly support a member of TTO’s executive leadership group, either the Office Director, Deputy Director, or Assistant Director for Program Management (ADPM), as a member of the TTO Front Office team.  This role also entails regular interaction with TTO’s Government Program Managers (PMs) and their support teams to understand their status and coordinate support for TTO leadership’s requirements and strategy.  This role will work closely with leadership to prioritize, communicate, and execute TTO initiatives and activities.

This is a full-time position in Arlington, VA (Ballston area)

Responsibilities May Include:

  • Engaging with TTO leadership, Government PMs and support teams, the DARPA Director’s Office (DIRO), personnel from other DARPA technical and support offices, DARPA performers, and other government partners to strengthen relationships, advance initiatives, and accelerate TTO priorities and efforts
  • Provide comprehensive support to TTO leadership, track and manage action completion within the front office and/or program support teams, and contribute to the coordination and drafting of strategy, planning, office policy and procedure, and decision support documents
  • Coordinate on all aspects of high-level meetings, events, and key initiatives to include scheduling, location, security, logistics, and after action
  • Assist in integrating workstreams and coordinating priorities; coordinate, track, and report on support activities, processes, and progress

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher - substantial relevant occupational experience (~10 or more years) may be considered in lieu of degree requirement
  • At least 5 years’ relevant experience (staffing and advising DoD, Cabinet, or Executive Office officials, corporate executives, or startup founders)
  • Active Secret security clearance, with ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
    • Please note US citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a security clearance
  • Prior experience facilitating meetings on behalf of senior executives and coordinating actions and follow-up
  • The demonstrated professionalism, maturity, sound judgement, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary for daily interactions with executive-level audiences in a dynamic, high-visibility Front Office environment
  • Ability to work independently or in a team setting as circumstances dictate
  • Strong writing skills; highly organized with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work on-site at full-time at DARPA in Arlington, VA

Highly Desired Attributes:

  • Prior DARPA experience
  • Active Top Secret security clearance
    • Please note US citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance
  • Prior experience in an R&D environment
  • Other ARPA agency (ARPA-H, IARPA, ARPA-E, etc.) experience

Compensation Details:

$120,000 - $180,000
