Summary/Objective:
The Resource Manager is responsible for the strategic and day-to-day management of workforce assignments across Compu Dynamics construction operations team. This role ensures that project managers, superintendents, and field personnel are deployed efficiently, transitions between projects are proactively managed, and leadership has real-time visibility into staffing capacity. The Resource Manager is the operational hub between business development, project delivery, and field execution translating pipeline demand into staffing plans and protecting the company from avoidable gaps in coverage or utilization.

Workforce Data Management & Procore Administration
- Maintain accurate, current assignment records for all PMs, superintendents, and field leads in Procore Workforce Planning
- Enforce data discipline standards across the team; serve as the quality gate for assignment information
- Update project schedules, crew compositions, and role assignments as changes occur in the field
- Audit Procore records on a recurring basis to identify stale data, missing end dates, or assignment conflicts
- Build and maintain a skills and certification matrix within Procore covering OSHA levels, low-voltage credentials, hyperscaler site access, and specialty qualifications
Availability Forecasting & Capacity Planning
- Maintain a rolling 30/60/90-day availability forecast by region and role type
- Monitor project end dates and flag any resource expected to roll off within 45 days
- Produce and distribute a weekly capacity snapshot for operations leadership covering:
- Current headcount by project and region
- Upcoming availability by role and geography
- Open demand from awarded or anticipated projects
- Identify looming coverage gaps before they become reactive hiring or schedule problems
- Track bench status for any personnel between assignments and manage proactive redeployment
New Project Staffing & Onboarding
- Upon project award, partner with the PM and operations leadership to translate scope and schedule into a staffing plan
- Match available personnel to project requirements based on skills, certifications, geography, and availability
- Escalate to leadership when project demand exceeds available capacity or requires external recruiting
- Coordinate mobilization logistics in alignment with project start timelines
- Update Procore with confirmed assignments at project kickoff and maintain accuracy through project close
Project Transition & Offboarding Management
- Trigger and own the transition planning process for any project within 45 days of scheduled completion
- Coordinate with PMs and superintendents to confirm roll-off timing and sequence for each team member
- Ensure every departing resource has a documented next assignment plan before their current project closes
- Communicate transition timelines to affected team members with appropriate lead time
- Escalate personnel without confirmed next assignments to operations leadership for resolution
Weekly Resource Cadence & Stakeholder Communication
- Facilitate a weekly resource review call with PMs, superintendents, and operations leadership
- Surface assignment conflicts, pending transitions, and open demand items for leadership decision
- Serve as the primary point of contact for field personnel with questions about upcoming assignments
- Maintain a running open demand list tracking awarded and anticipated projects requiring staffing, with priority and timeline
- Produce a monthly utilization report showing deployment rates by role and region against targets
Cross Functional Coordination
- Partner with business development to model staffing implications of pipeline opportunities before award
- Coordinate with HR on hiring requests when forecasted demand exceeds available internal capacity
- Liaise with project controls to ensure Procore schedule data is aligned with resource planning assumptions
- Support operations leadership in annual headcount planning by providing utilization trends and gap analysis
Talent Management & Team Collaboration
- Assign and oversee team responsibilities.
- Build and maintain a collaborative project culture.
- Allocate resources and adjust assignments by workload.
- Provide clear feedback and performance coaching to team members.

Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in workforce planning, resource management, or project operations in a construction, field services, or infrastructure environment
- Hands-on experience with Procore or a comparable construction management / workforce planning platform
- Strong organizational and data management skills; demonstrated ability to maintain accurate records across multiple concurrent projects
- Comfortable facilitating standing meetings with field leadership and driving decisions under uncertainty
- Effective written and verbal communicator across all levels of the organization
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in data center construction, structured cabling, or infrastructure subcontracting
- Familiarity with field crew roles including PMs, superintendents, foremen, and low-voltage technicians
- Exposure to workforce scheduling, utilization tracking, or capacity modeling tools
- Proficiency with HubSpot or similar CRM for pipeline-to-staffing coordination
