Our teams design, install, integrate, and maintain cuttingedge security technologies that help organizations protect their people, assets, and data. As we continue to grow, we are looking for curious and motivated students who want to learn how the Post Sales Engineering Team supports a scaling organization.

 

This intern will participate in the i2G Systems 2026 Summer Internship Program, a structured 10-week experience designed to provide meaningful, hands-on exposure to their role. In addition to gaining real-world experience, interns will have access to a series of dedicated program events focused on networking, professional development, and career growth. 



Responsibilities

What You'll Get to Work On

- Review Scope of Work (SOW) and Bills of Materials (BOM) to ensure accuracy and alignment with project requirements 

- Review and mark up engineering drawings as needed to support design accuracy and updates

- Perform basic project-related calculations, including conduit fill, voltage drop, and load calculations

- Attend project meetings and document key notes, updates, and action items

- Assist with creating and reviewing project takeoffs to support material and labor estimates

- Support additional project-related tasks as assigned



Qualifications



What We're Looking For

- Enrolled in an accredited MEP Engineering program

- Basic understanding of engineering principles and building systems

  • - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • - Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

  • - Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • - Strong interest in learning about the security industry
