Responsibilities
We’re looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Utility Technicians. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience, learn valuable skills, and build a career in Subsurface Utility Engineering. No prior industry experience required—SAM provides all the training, tools, and support you’ll need to succeed. Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with identifying and marking utilities, structures, and control points on maps and in the field.Help set up and maintain approved traffic control plansOperate and maintain company tools and equipment, including vacuum trucks, hoses, air lances, jackhammers, and other field tools.Accurately collect, record, and document field dataPerform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operationSafely drive company vehicles to and from job sites.Support your team by taking on additional tasks as needed while learning the trade

Qualifications
- Valid driver's license, in conjunction with successfully passing the company MVR requirements, clean background check and drug screeningWillingness to travel and work outdoors in all weather conditions.Ability to walk long distances over uneven terrain and lift/carry up to 50 lbs. with assistance.A strong work ethic, attention to safety, and a willingness to learn.
