Responsibilities
- Monitor and review security alerts from centralized security tools
- Assist with investigating and documenting security incidents
- Follow documented procedures for escalation and response
- Support endpoint security investigations
- Assist with vulnerability tracking and remediation follow-up
- Document security activities to support audits and compliance
- Map observed threats to established cybersecurity frameworks
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 0–2 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT, or a related technical role
- Familiarity with security monitoring or endpoint protection tools
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity best practices
- Ability to follow documented procedures and maintain records
- Strong written communication and documentation skills
- Secret clearance with USG
- Experience in a regulated or compliance-driven environment
- Familiarity with NIST SP 800-171 or CMMC concepts
- Exposure to vulnerability scanning or security alerting tools
- Entry-level cybersecurity certification (e.g., Security+)
- Collaborative high fidelity team environment
- May include on-call or shift coverage
- Exposure to real-world security events
