Job Title: Solutions Architect, Senior Principal

Responsibilities

The Solutions Architect (SA) will support the Trace Systems Business Development and Proposal organization in growing revenue and designing/developing solutions to help our customers solve mission oriented and technical challenges with core Trace and partner capabilities. This position must work well in a team environment and will play a central role in developing winning solutions from Capture Development through Proposal submission and award. The SA will be able to lead development of both technology and personnel-focused solutions as well as the design of proposal and prototype solutions for staff augmentation and network solutions. The SA will oversee inputs from a wide range of contributors including engineering, pricing, proposals, business development, project, and Executive personnel to facilitate development of a willing solution.

 

The ideal candidate for this position will demonstrate technical competency combined with strong self-motivated, polished business professionalism and excellent verbal and written communication skills and deep technical fluency in core infrastructure and network systems.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with business and technical personnel within Trace and among our customer and partner base
  • Understand client requirements and translate them into documented engineering requirements
  • Develop new strategic initiatives and customer relationships while continuing to enhance preexisting initiatives and relationships
  • Design solutions that address and align with customers’ technical environments, business needs, and enterprise data security compliance requirements
  • Align Trace technology solutions with new business opportunities to support the pursuit, capture, and implementation of new business opportunities
  • Perform technical oversight and analysis of approaches, designs, best practices and documentation
  • Attend meetings, working groups, design reviews, and technology discussions related to engineering initiatives, proposals, and quality control of current work


Qualifications



  • Active, in-scope US Government issued Top Secret clearance
  • Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US citizenship is required.
  • Experience working with Business Development, Capture, or Sales organizations
  • 10+ years of professional experience
  • Knowledge of government contracting processes and policies

Desired Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Desire to work within a fast-paced, dynamic startup business environment


Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Engineering, or relevant field of study (or equivalent work experience)
