We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate FP&A Director to lead a high-performing team within our organization. This role will drive strategic financial planning, business operations enablement, and organizational transformation. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Corporate FP&A, the Corporate FP&A Director will play a pivotal role in advancing the company’s adoption of AI, enabling data-driven decision-making, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of managers and direct reports, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Develop and implement formal training and development programs to enhance team capabilities and career growth.
- Business Operations Enablement:
- Develop an understanding existing business processes, using best of breed benchmarking metrics, identifying pain point areas, and implementing prioritized systems improvements
- Lead initiatives to optimize business processes, ensuring efficiency and scalability. .
- AI Adoption and Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Champion the integration of AI technologies into financial and operational workflows.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging AI to improve forecasting accuracy, operational efficiency, and strategic insights.
- Organizational Change Management:
- Drive change management initiatives to support business process transformation and establish cultural alignment with organizational goals.
- Act as a change agent, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption of new processes and technologies.
- Training and Development:
- Design and implement formal development programs to upskill team members and enhance organizational capabilities.
- Promote continuous learning and professional growth within the FP&A function and broadly across Finance and Business Operations functions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with cross-functional teams and senior leaders to enable advanced analytics and AI adoption across the organization.
- Work closely with the VP of Corporate FP&A and other senior leaders to align financial strategies with business objectives.
- Collaborate with departments such as IT, HR, and Operations to ensure seamless execution of initiatives.
- Performance Metrics and Reporting:
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of operational initiatives.
- Prepare and present reports to senior leadership, highlighting progress, challenges, and opportunities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 12+ years of experience in corporate FP&A, financial management, or related roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
- Prior defense contracting industry experience is required.
- Proven track record of leading teams and driving organizational transformation.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- US citizenship is required and able to obtain security clearance as needed.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in change management and business process optimization is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of AI technologies and their application in financial and operational contexts.
