2026 SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM Research & Development

The LifeNet Health summer internship is a paid ($20/hour) program and includes project work that aligns with our mission Saving Lives, Restoring Health, and Giving Hope. The projects are designed to engage active learning, provide mentor relationships and leadership development over the course of a 10-week program. As a fun bonus, our interns are provided with 8 weeks of golf lessons and a set of clubs to use during the internship program with an end-of-program golf tournament!

The Research & Development internship project will provide you with hands-on experience in a corporate environment where you will be exposed to the multiple functions of the R&D team to support the business and drive corporate initiatives.

Clinical Status: Clinical

PROJECT DETAILS/TRAINING:

• You will assist with developing biologics for wound dressing and bone regeneration applications.
• You will conduct experiments related to prototype development/optimization.
• You will assist in characterization using mechanical tests and various biochemical assays.

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

You must be actively pursuing a bachelors degree. BA Biology, Bioengineering, Tissue Engineering, LifeSciences Required. LifeSciences related courses or biomaterials related courses preferred.

You must be a rising junior, senior, or a recent graduate in 2026.

You must be available to commit to the 10-week program (June 1 August 7), full-time, 40 hours/week.
