Overview
Position is contingent upon contract award and funding.Sev1Tech is looking for a Configuration Management Lead to support a team providing enterprise IT operations support for a DHS customer. The project is focused on infrastructure management and operations - e.g., monitoring, incident response, cybersecurity, system administration, patching, unified communications, hosting - with an emphasis on automation to:
- Minimize manual intervention, improve efficiency, and reduce human errorsImplement platforms that orchestrate work-flowsfor end-to-end task executionUtilize AI as well as predictive analytics to detect anomalies, predict failures, and initiate self-healing processes to reduce downtime and improve system resilience
Responsibilities
- Bachelor’s Degree4 years’ team lead or equivalent experience in IT Configuration Management, metrics and reporting, ITSM process management, or other relevant experienceExperience maintaining baseline and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) using platforms such as ServiceNow or RemedyExperience on maintaining the baseline for efforts using Agile and DevOps methodologiesAdvanced experience using configuration management database (CMDB) to onboard new hardware/software technologies accurately and confirm that items are correctly documented5+ years of IT requirements managements, configuration management, change management or Systems Engineering experienceMid-level experience in configuration and change management principlesWorking knowledge of Jenkins, configuration management database (CMDB), code packaging, Jira, Salesforce, ELK, Git Hub, AWS and basic Unix commands
Qualifications
- Experience maintaining the baseline for cloud-based systemsAmazon Web Services (AWS) Certifications
