Overview

Position is contingent upon contract award and funding.

Sev1Tech is looking for a Change Management Lead to support a team providing enterprise IT operations support for a DHS customer.

The project is focused on infrastructure management and operations - e.g., monitoring, incident response, cybersecurity, system administration, patching, unified communications, hosting - with an emphasis on automation to:
    Minimize manual intervention, improve efficiency, and reduce human errorsImplement platforms that orchestrate work-flowsfor end-to-end task executionUtilize AI as well as predictive analytics to detect anomalies, predict failures, and initiate self-healing processes to reduce downtime and improve system resilience


Responsibilities

    Bachelor’s Degree Strong skills in the use of Service Management tools, such as ServiceNow or RemedyKnowledge of ITIL frameworkExpertise in integrating technical process work-flowswithin current and future Change Management (CM) automationMinimum 4 years’ team lead or equivalent experience in enterprise Information Technology (IT) Change Management, metrics and reporting, IT Service Management (ITSM) process management, or other relevant experienceExperience developing written functional documentation and training materialsThorough knowledge of the relationships between Change Management, Configuration Management and Release Management, and a desire to improve that understanding in othersDemonstrated leadership experience implementing and improving IT processesExperience providing direction on implementing and maintaining internal change management policies, procedures and associated training plansOverall responsibility for managing the CM team, priority, status, and deliverablesProven ability to work closely with the business community as well as technical resources in a tactful manner

Eligibility/Clearance Requirements: Eligibility for Entry on Duty clearance

Certification Requirements: ITIL certification or the ability to obtain within 12 months
