Technical Audio-Visual Engineer

TerraPower is seeking a Technical Audio-Visual Engineer to join the Enterprise IT team. This role is critical to ensuring seamless communication across our innovation driven organization, supporting the technologies we rely on for daily collaboration, executive meetings and companywide events. Role will partner with our Marketing and Communication team supporting live and hybrid events.


Key Responsibilities:
AV Systems Design & Management

Design, configure, and maintain enterprise AV systems including Microsoft Teams and Zoom platforms


Manage Teams meeting room configurations, ensuring optimal performance and user experience


Oversee the technical infrastructure supporting our global collaboration activities including construction site live feeds


Implement upgrades and improvements to AV systems based on evolving business requirements


Resolve IT Tickets related to role’s scope including meeting applications and equipment issues


Event & Meeting Support:

Partner with Marketing & Communications for company-wide town halls and large-scale meetings , the AV Engineer will lead technical functions


Configure and manage AV setups for standard meetings hosted by the company or third-party organizations


Collaborate with the Marketing team to deliver AV technical support for corporate events


Support board-level/executive team members connecting from various global locations, ensuring reliable, high-quality connections


Technical Support & Maintenance:

Troubleshoot and resolve AV technical issues promptly to minimize disruption


Perform routine maintenance and testing of AV equipment and meeting room systems


Maintain documentation of AV configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides


Stay current with emerging AV technologies and best practices


Required Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree, or equivalent work experience


Minimum 8+ years of professional experience in audio-visual engineering, integration, or related technical field


Preferred qualifications: Certifications in AV technology (CTS, CTS-I, Crestron, Logitech, and other manufacturer-specific certifications)


Demonstrated experience managing enterprise-level AV systems and video conferencing platforms for mid-sized companies


Direct hands-on experience supporting live and hybrid events, including setup, operation and real-time troubleshooting of AV systems (audio, visual, conferencing, plus presentation and video streaming)


Proven experience with enterprise video conferencing platforms specifically Microsoft Teams (GCC High a plus) and Zoom (commercial)


Strong understanding of AV equipment including cameras, microphones, speakers, displays, and control systems


Knowledge of network protocols and AV-over-IP technologies


Familiarity with meeting room technologies (Crestron, Extron, Polycom, or similar systems)


Experience supporting hybrid and remote work environments


Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues quickly, while leveraging IT change management processes

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Job details:
Salary Range 9: $102,804 - $154,206

* We typically place offers in the lower to middle portion of the range to maintain internal equity and allow room for growth. Any salary offered within the posted salary band is based on market data and commensurate with the selected individual’s qualifications experience. This range is specific to Washington State.
