Job Title: Facility Representative Support                                                                              

Location:  Work shall be conducted at the Hanford Field Office (HFO) and the Hanford Site in Richland, WA 

Clearance:  Public trust 

Citizenship: US citizen

Position(s): 9 full-time employees (FTEs); exempt status

Compensation: $135,000.00 to $180,000.00 - compensation based on years of relevant, work-related experience, educational background, professional background and skills and familiarity with US Department of Energy (DOE) policies, procedures and orders.                                                                                      

 

AttainX, Inc. is in search of facility representatives to provide operations field oversight for the Assistant Manager for Safety and Quality (AMSQ) and the Assistant Manager for Safety and Environment (AMSE) Operations Oversight Division (OOD). Contractor personnel performing services under this call shall complete required training based on assigned facilities. The OOD Director will identify the required training.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of studyAn associate's degree with 3 years of experience, or 6 years of experience without a degree may be substitutedAdvanced degrees (masters, PhD) may substitute for the 9 and 12 years of experience respectively9+ years of combined experience in nuclear conduct of operations (ConOps), construction safety and oversight and nuclear facility testing and commissioningSubstantial experience with DOE O 422.1 ConOps ProgramsPossess a solid foundational understanding across nuclear, mechanical, electrical, chemical and radiological disciplinesProficient in safety inspections, incident investigation, causal analysis, management reviews and quality assuranceExcellent communication skills - written and verbalPreferred Qualifications:

Experience with processes at the Hanford Tank Farms (TF) and/or Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant (WTP)Experience with nuclear facility deactivation and demolitionExperience with process safety management of highly hazardous chemicals (29 CFR 1910.119)

Job Duties:

Plan and conduct assessments of policies, programs and procedures related to operations, maintenance, testing and facility readiness.Perform field oversight and document reviews to gather data for assessments.Areas of focus to include site infrastructure, waste management, groundwater treatment, deactivation and demolition (D&D), tank waste and the High-level Waste (HLW) Facility.Document assessment and surveillance reports in DOE's Integrated Contractor Assurance System (iCAS) database.Provide regular verbal briefs to the OOD Director, team leads and facility representatives).Evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.Attend relevant trainings, meetings and discussions relevant.Support the Facility Representative Program through mentoring, training and procedure updates.Interface with Hanford Site subject matter experts (SMEs) and Site contractors.Submit weekly reports on work accomplished and progress on deliverables.Perform administrative functions as required.
