Overview
The Cycle Counter is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels within the manufacturing facility through systematic counting procedures, SAP data management, and cross-functional support. This is an onsite, production floor-based role.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cycle counts on the production floor to verify and maintain accurate inventory levels
- Research and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner
- Adjust and correct inventory records and material allocations in SAP
- Audit warehouse locations to ensure inventory accuracy
- Support Kanban processes through timely pickup and drop-off of materials
- Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to identify and address root causes of inventory variances
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Knowledge, Experience & Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred
- A combination of relevant experience and education will be considered
- SAP experience preferred
Skills & Abilities:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel experience a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Schedule:
- 1st shift
Physical Requirements:
- Role requires walking approximately 6 miles per day within a manufacturing facility
- Occasional lifting, stooping, and bending required
