POSITION SUMMARY

As an equipment operator assisting with move help, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

1. Operating and assisting in the transport, setup, teardown, and relocation of aggregate processing equipment
2. Verifying that equipment is safely dissembled, transported, reassembled, and made operational in a timely and efficient manner
3. Making sure loads are properly secured and free from debris that can fall from the trailers or beds of the transport vehicles
4. Distributing plant components evenly on moving trailers so they are secure through transport
5. Assisting with initial setup of the processing plant, including skid steer operation to clean around the plant
6. Loading material / aggregate / soils into transport vehicles, crushing and screen plants, or hot mix asphalt plants

Position Requirements:

1. Must be at least 18 years old
2. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
3. Physical ability to work in all seasonal weather and environmental conditions
4. Ability to listen and take direction from others while being a team player and helping to train less experienced employees
5. Knowledge of aggregate sizes, classifications and weight requirements of loads leaving the site
6. Ability to keep time and material records
7. Knowledge of soils, sand, and aggregate classification to help produce “spec” material through the crushing operation
8. Excellent customer relation skills
