Department Academic Coordinator



Assist department(s) staff leadership with: developing, coordinating and implementing the departmental(s) course schedule for multiple departments; maintaining classroom schedule and classroom equipment inventory; providing academic services and information to students, parents, staff, and faculty. Accurately explaining Dietrich School procedures to students, parents, faculty, and staff. Assisting students as needed. Likewise, assisting with administrative duties related to the departmental chair and faculty; updating and maintaining departmental websites and digital messaging boards; supply inventory; day-to-day general office support.


The successful candidate will use a computer extensively. They must be capable of oral, written, and electronic communications. Must be able to sit for long periods of time. In addition to a computer, they must be able to use a telephone and other general office equipment including but not limited to photocopiers, scanners, printers, etc. Must maintain a positive, professional attitude. Demonstrating a willingness to be helpful and cooperative is imperative. Must be able to function effectively and efficiently in a constantly interrupted environment. The ability to prioritize tasks. The ability to work under pressure and with hard time constraints and deadlines.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Work Arrangement: Hybrid: Combination of On-Campus and Remote work as determined by the department.

Requested Pay Rate: 20.00
