POSITION SUMMARY

Full time position to support job site equipment by fueling and servicing machines.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Perform fueling and greasing in a safe and efficient manner
  2. Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions or failures
  3. Perform assigned task in a timely, accurate and efficient mannger
  4. Keep detailed records of equipment conditions (hour meters, overall condition, etc)
  5. Communicate larger equipment issues with shop and facilitate the repair
  6. prepare required documentation accurately and timely, including work orders, fuel reports, and hour meter/odometer reports
  7. General upkeep and organization of workspaces (i.e.; fueling vehicle, shop space, etc)
  8. Other duties may be assigned by the Shop Manager or the General Manager

Position Requirements:
  1. Minimal amount of hand tools may be required
  2. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  3. Possess the ability to write routine reports and correspondence in clear and concise language
  4. Possess the ability to communicate effectively in a team environment
  5. Possess the ability to add, subtract, multiple, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  6. Possess the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  7. Possess the ability to work on an individual basis and solve minor problems without supervision
  8. small hand tool maintenance
  9. Communicate in a courteous and effective manner with customers and/or co-workers
  10. Maintain satisfactory attendance
  11. Present with cleanliness, punctuality, and a pleasant attitude
  12. Maintain health, a safe working environment and observe all safety laws, policies, and rules
  13. Work overtime when needed
  14. Perform assigned tasks in a timely, accurate and efficient manner
  15. Be quality and production oriented
  16. Pass pre-employment drug screen
  17. Possess a valid current Driver's license
  18. High school diploma or GED
  19. 3+ years in a fueling/mechanic capacity preferred
  20. CDL license
  21. Haz-Mat endorsement
  22. Tanker endorsement
