The position plays a vital role in promoting safety, maintaining equipment, supporting production targets, and traveling to customer sites as needed. RESPONSIBILITIES: Always promotes safety as a top priority. Adheres to all company rules, policies, guidelines, and procedures. Ensures compliance with environmental, safety, and health regulations. Monitors, maintains, and ensures proper condition of shop tools and equipment. Meets productivity and efficiency requirements. Uses and interprets machine shop measuring instruments. Reads and interprets engineering drawings. Prepares and cleans parts using solvents and cleaners. Safely rigs and lifts large components, including castings and assemblies exceeding 40,000 lbs. Foundry Employee Level 1 – Melting Reports To: Foundry Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities: Wear all PPE required Follow all GIW Safety guidelines Keeps area neat, clean, and safe Secure and rope off pouring floor prior to pouring Able to work any scheduled hours Able to follow and understand work instructions Able to read a tape measure Able to follow and understand SOPs Able to set up and sand in molds Able to bolt up closed molds and understand bolting requirements Able to inspect molds with a borescope camera Able to set and pull mold weights Able to understand and verify riser height Operates overhead crane, skid steer, forklift, and dump trucks Able to understand and document inspection forms for cranes, forklifts, man lifts and scissor lifts Knows how to patch ladles Must understand and perform the process of slagging off ladles during pouring Follow all instructions given by team leads and supervisor Education: High School Diploma or GED Physical Requirements: Frequently: Standing, walking, sitting, bending, squatting, stooping Lifting, pushing, and pulling Occasionally: Overhead work Climbing ladders or stairs Driving forklifts Operating cranes GIW Industries, Inc. Department: Finance Reports to: Director of Finance Location: Grovetown, Georgia Shift: 1st FLSA Status: Exempt OVERVIEW : The Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise financial reporting solutions that support Accounting, Regional Controlling, Regional Business Controlling, and consolidated corporate reporting across multiple business entities. This role serves as the primary resource for SAP Business Intelligence (BI) and Analysis for Office (AFO) reporting, ensuring accurate, standardized, and timely financial information throughout the organization. Working closely with Finance, Accounting, IT, and business leadership, the Financial Reporting Analyst designs and delivers reporting solutions that support financial close activities, forecasting, budgeting, operational analysis, and strategic decision-making. This position promotes reporting consistency, data integrity, automation, and continuous process improvement while supporting SAP S/4HANA initiatives and enterprise reporting standards. RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop, maintain, and enhance SAP Business Intelligence (BI) reports and Analysis for Office (AFO) workbooks supporting multiple regional business entities and consolidated corporate reporting. Support consolidated financial reporting by maintaining standardized report structures, organizational hierarchies, and reporting methodologies across business units. Partner with Accounting, Finance, IT, and business leaders to identify reporting requirements and develop scalable enterprise reporting solutions. Validate financial data across SAP, BI reports, AFO workbooks, and other reporting platforms to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Develop and improve reporting packages supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes. Utilize SQL to investigate reporting discrepancies, validate data, and reconcile information between SAP and other enterprise systems. Create dashboards, automated reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs) that provide actionable business insights. Train and support Finance users on SAP BI, Analysis for Office (AFO), reporting tools, and reporting best practices. Maintain documentation for reporting processes, report definitions, and data governance standards. Assist with internal and external audit requests related to financial reporting and reporting controls. Collaborate with IT on SAP reporting enhancements, upgrades, testing, and implementation activities. Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency through automation, standardization, and continuous process improvement initiatives. Promote data governance, reporting consistency, security, and compliance across enterprise reporting platforms. Perform ad hoc financial reporting and analysis as requested by Finance leadership. SKILLS / COMPETENCIES Advanced knowledge of SAP Business Intelligence (BI) and Analysis for Office (AFO). Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance data structures and enterprise reporting. Understanding of consolidated financial reporting concepts, organizational hierarchies, and multi-entity reporting environments. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement reporting. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, Power Pivot, XLOOKUP, and complex formulas. Experience utilizing SQL for data validation, reporting analysis, and troubleshooting. Experience creating dashboards and automated reporting solutions. Knowledge of SAP BW, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Power BI, or similar business intelligence tools is preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and integrity. Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial information to various audiences. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams. QUALIFICATIONS: Education Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent combinations of education, professional certifications, and relevant experience will be considered. Experience Two to five years of experience in financial reporting, business intelligence, ERP reporting, accounting systems, or a related finance function. Experience using SAP Business Intelligence (BI), Analysis for Office (AFO), SAP BW, or comparable enterprise reporting platforms. Experience supporting financial reporting within a multi-company or multi-entity environment. Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA Finance is preferred. Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency is required. Experience with SQL, Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, or similar reporting tools is preferred. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Frequently Read and analyze information on computer monitors for prolonged periods.
