JOB DESCRIPTION Job Summary Provides support for health plan provider relations activities. Supports network development, network adequacy and provider training and education. Serves as primary point of contact between the business and contracted providers within the Molina network. Responsible for network management including provider education, communication, satisfaction, issue intake, access/availability and ensuring knowledge of and compliance with Molina policies and procedures. Essential Job Duties • Successfully engages high-volume, high-visibility plan providers, to ensure provider satisfaction, facilitate education on key Molina initiatives, and improve coordination and partnership between the health plan and contracted providers. • Serves as the primary point of contact between Molina health plan and the non-complex provider community that services Molina members, including but not limited to fee-for-service (FFS) and pay-for-performance (P4P) providers. • Collaborates directly with the plan’s external providers to educate, advocate and engage as valuable partners - ensuring knowledge of and compliance with Molina policies and procedures while achieving the highest level of customer service; effectively drives timely issue resolution, electronic medical record (EMR) connectivity, and provider portal adoption. • Conducts regular provider site visits within assigned region/service area; determines daily or weekly schedule, to meet or exceed the plan's monthly site visit goals. Proactively engages with the provider and staff to determine; for example, non-compliance with Molina policies/procedures or Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) guidelines/regulations, or to assess the non-clinical quality of customer service provided to Molina members. • Provides on-the-spot training and education as needed, including counseling providers diplomatically, while retaining a positive working relationship. • Independently troubleshoots provider problems as they arise, and takes initiative in preventing and resolving issues between the provider and the plan whenever possible. The types of questions, issues or problems that may emerge during visits are unpredictable and may range from simple to very complex or sensitive matters. • Initiates, coordinates and participates in problem-solving meetings between the provider and Molina stakeholders, including senior leadership and physicians (examples include: issues related to utilization management, pharmacy, quality of care, and correct coding). • Independently delivers training and presentations to assigned providers and their staff - answering questions that come up on behalf of the health plan; may also deliver training and presentations to larger groups, such as leaders and management of provider offices, including large multispecialty groups or health systems, executive level decision makers, association meetings, and joint operating committees (JOCs). • Performs an integral role in network management, by monitoring and enforcing company policies and procedures, while increasing provider effectiveness by educating and promoting participation in various Molina initiatives; examples of such initiatives include: administrative cost-effectiveness, member satisfaction - Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS), regulatory-related, Molina quality programs, and taking advantage of electronic solutions (electronic data interchange (EDI), EMR, provider portal, provider website, etc.). • May provide training and support to new and existing provider relations team members as appropriate. • Role requires 60%+ same-day or overnight travel (extent of same-day or overnight travel will depend on the specific health plan service area). Required Qualifications • At least 2 years of customer service, provider services, or claims experience in a managed care or medical office setting, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. • General understanding of the health care delivery system, including government-sponsored health plans. • Organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. • Interpersonal skills, including ability to interface with providers and medical office staff. • Ability to work in a cross-functional highly matrixed organization. • Effective verbal and written communication skills. • Microsoft Office suite and applicable software programs proficiency. The CBP Aircraft Mechanic maintains repairs and modifies aircraft structures and structural components of moderate difficulty, maintains and repairs aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components. Principal Accountabilities: Apply technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determining equipment malfunctions and applies required expertise in restoring equipment condition and or operation and applies comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as blueprints or manufactures’ manuals. Perform daily, flight line and hangar maintenance on all assigned aircraft. Perform inspections, corrosion control, troubleshooting and fault isolation on aircraft systems. Furnish own hand tools to perform maintenance of aircraft (necessary special tools and test equipment will be furnished by Customs). May occasionally lead teams through more complex aircraft relevant tasks. May be required to make entries in aircraft logs and records. Must be able to prioritize workload schedules on assigned projects. Minimum Requirements: Must be able to obtain and maintain a CBP Background Investigation Suitability clearance. Note: US Citizenship required to obtain clearance. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Must hold a current airframe and power plant mechanic (A&P) certificate. Must be competent and knowledgeable in the repair and maintenance of airframes, hydraulics, fuel systems, and aircraft engines. Requires broad knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modification and repair. Must possess a working knowledge of military and general aviation aircraft airframe and engine logbooks. Must have basic knowledge of electrical theory. Must have thorough knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet metal brakes and sheers. Requires working knowledge of technical publications. Able to follow base, federal and Company procedures for handling and disposal of hazardous waste materials. Must be proficient in Office software applications to communicate through e-mail and various software applications.; especially Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Ability to meet required deadlines and maintain necessary workflow. Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in the English language and follow both verbal and written instruction. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. The ability to read and write and comprehend/interpret data. Physical Requirements/Working Environment: Be physically able to perform aircraft mechanic duties. Ability to move freely about the interior and in the unpressurized area aft of the aft pressure bulkhead and meet aircraft specific specs for weight limit. Stand, squat, sit, walk, work with arms overhead for extended periods of time. Pull, push, and lift up to 50 lbs. On occasions, individuals may also be required to work in areas where high noise hazards prevail, thus requiring the use of adequate ear protection. Preferred Qualifications: Employed as a full-time aircraft mechanic within the past twelve (12) months. Have 3-5 years of experience working full-time as an aircraft mechanic. The Avionics Technician installs, inspects, tests, adjusts, or repairs avionics equipment, such as radar, communications, navigation, and instrument systems assigned CBP aircraft. Principal Accountabilities: Troubleshoot, repair, and modify avionics, electrical and instrumentation systems installed on aircraft. Solve complex problems by interpreting manufacturers' manuals or similar technical documents and/or drawings. Use intricate test equipment such as, multi-trace oscilloscopes, frequency counters, multi-meters, and other avionics test equipment to perform troubleshooting and operational checks. Perform removal, repair, installation, inspection, and operational check of system components. Repair and/or replace components based on test results following blueprints, schematics, handbooks, and other technical documents. Perform calibration, repair and replacement of system components based on test results following blueprints, schematics, handbooks, and other technical documents. Make entries in aircraft logs and records and is responsible for providing guidance and technical expertise to less experienced technicians throughout all aircraft maintenance and/or modifications efforts. Must be familiar with the operational capabilities and limitations of electrical / avionics systems. Possess a thorough working knowledge of the detection, prevention, and treatment of corrosion. Must have basic computer data entry skills required for use of Custom Border Protection maintenance and logistics database. Physical Requirements/Working Environment Requires sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time. Requires frequent climbing, bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, crouching, kneeling, lifting, carrying, balancing, and reaching above shoulder level, pushing or pulling weight up to 70 pounds.
