JOB DESCRIPTION Job Summary Provides support for health plan provider relations activities. Supports network development, network adequacy and provider training and education. Serves as primary point of contact between the business and contracted providers within the Molina network. Responsible for network management including provider education, communication, satisfaction, issue intake, access/availability and ensuring knowledge of and compliance with Molina policies and procedures. Proactively engages with the provider and staff to determine; for example, non-compliance with Molina policies/procedures or Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) guidelines/regulations, or to assess the non-clinical quality of customer service provided to Molina members. • Provides on-the-spot training and education as needed, including counseling providers diplomatically, while retaining a positive working relationship. • Independently troubleshoots provider problems as they arise, and takes initiative in preventing and resolving issues between the provider and the plan whenever possible. The types of questions, issues or problems that may emerge during visits are unpredictable and may range from simple to very complex or sensitive matters. • Initiates, coordinates and participates in problem-solving meetings between the provider and Molina stakeholders, including senior leadership and physicians (examples include: issues related to utilization management, pharmacy, quality of care, and correct coding). • Independently delivers training and presentations to assigned providers and their staff - answering questions that come up on behalf of the health plan; may also deliver training and presentations to larger groups, such as leaders and management of provider offices, including large multispecialty groups or health systems, executive level decision makers, association meetings, and joint operating committees (JOCs). • Performs an integral role in network management, by monitoring and enforcing company policies and procedures, while increasing provider effectiveness by educating and promoting participation in various Molina initiatives; examples of such initiatives include: administrative cost-effectiveness, member satisfaction - Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS), regulatory-related, Molina quality programs, and taking advantage of electronic solutions (electronic data interchange (EDI), EMR, provider portal, provider website, etc.). • May provide training and support to new and existing provider relations team members as appropriate. • Role requires 60%+ same-day or overnight travel (extent of same-day or overnight travel will depend on the specific health plan service area). This position will report to the VP of Global Operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Identify non-value steps and develop and implement lean projects across the local plant organization. Work with the regional and segment lean teams, as well as management, to ensure implementation buy-in of the plant lean strategy. Conduct and facilitate Lean Action Workout sessions or similar Value Stream Mapping activities Develop a sense of urgency in the organization for all improvement activities. Build and maintain visual controls and metrics aimed at delivering performance data for decision making to management at all levels through-out the plant. Collaborate with support functions in implementing lean, metrics, and dashboards for all processes. Coordinate and engage organizations outside of SCM (ie. An Aircraft Mechanic III (UH-60/AH-64/CH-47) maintains repairs and modifies aircraft structures, structural components, and engines of complex to extreme difficulty. Maintains and repairs aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems and mechanical components. Applies technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determining equipment malfunctions. Applies technical expertise in restoring equipment condition and operation. Applies professional technical expertise and guidance to solve complex problems by interpreting technical data such as blueprints or manufactures' manuals. Make entries in aircraft logs and records and is responsible for providing guidance and technical expertise to lower-level technicians throughout all aircraft modifications and/or maintenance efforts. Service and lubricate aircraft and subsystems. Safety prepare aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks and services. Perform scheduled inspections and assist in performing special inspections. Perform limited maintenance operational checks and diagnoses and troubleshoots aircraft systems using special tools and test equipment as required. Use and perform operator maintenance on tools, special tools, and aircraft ground support equipment. Apply professional comprehensive technical expertise and guidance to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical data/documentation such as blueprints, manufactures’ manuals, aircraft Technical Manuals, Maintenance information and Action Messages and all technical guidance provided through government official representatives. All experience must be within the ten most recent years. All mechanics assigned to perform maintenance on FAA certified aircraft must meet FAA requirements. Required to possess the level of experience necessary to inspect all required aeronautical type maintenance to be performed by skill class Mechanic I and must have a combination of experience to repair engines, sheet metal, structural, hydraulic, electrical, power train and general mechanical maintenance of moderate difficulty, required to meet the assigned missions. Required thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, diagnosing problems, repair procedures and replacement of parts. Required basic knowledge of electrical theory. Required thorough knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet metal brakes and sheers. Required working knowledge of making entries in aircraft logbooks & records, military technical publications, and the Army's Unit Level Logistics Aviation Information System, ULLSAE.
