The Aircraft Mechanic 2 (CH-47/AH-64/UH-60 – NDI II) Oversees and performs maintenance on helicopters, excluding repair of systems according to drawings, blueprints, directives, technical manuals and safety procedures. Inspects aerospace weapon systems components and support equipment for structural integrity using nondestructive inspection methods and performs fluid analysis. May be required to perform any Aircraft Mechanic I task. Oversees and services and lubricates aircraft and subsystems. Oversees preparation of aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks. Oversees and use of and performs operator maintenance on tools, special tools and aircraft ground support equipment. Oversees preparation of forms and records related to aircraft maintenance. Performs additional duties, including maintenance duties, as requested. Familiar with the scope and limitations of the technique/method in which they are certified. Provide the necessary guidance and supervision to trainers and Level I personnel in the technique/method in which they are certified. Familiar with the codes, standards, and other contractual documents that control the method as utilized by the employer. Develop written instructions form approved general procedures. Determine test method and prepare fluids and parts for nondestructive inspection. Interpret nondestructive inspection test results and provide information about defects to repair center. Analyze wear metal content reports on engine lubricating oil and other fluids and recommend corrective action. Establish radiation areas for radiographic operations. Computer and monitor personal exposure areas for radiographic operations, and monitors personnel exposure data. Perform nondestructive inspection on structures, components, and systems. Detect flaws such as cracks, delamination, voids, processing defects, and heat damage using penetrant, eddy current, magnetic particles, radiographic, optical, and ultrasonic test equipment. Determine metallurgical information of components according to alloy, temper, conductivity, and associated factors, Operate, maintain, and inspect nondestructive equipment. Perform operator maintenance and service inspections on shop equipment and tools. Ensure lock out and tag out procedures are accomplished prior to maintenance on equipment. Perform silver recovery functions. Handle and dispose of hazardous waste and materials. Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent is required. U.S. military technical school or specialized training course is desired, certification of education level is required. Valid up-to-date A&P license (optional ) Shall have three years aviation maintenance experience, three years rotary wing aircraft experience, and two years on the assigned Mission Design Series (MDS). All experience must be within the six most recent years. Possess the level of experience to inspect all required aeronautical type maintenance to be performed by aircraft mechanic. The incumbent receives technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician, will occasionally be required to lead teams through more complex aircraft relevant tasks, and may be required to make entries in aircraft logs and records. Must be trained and qualified per NAS 410 or ASNT-CP-189 to the level assigned. Previous experience in the maintenance, modification, and repair of tactical aircraft systems of the type being serviced and their associated components. Completion of an initial Non-Destructive Inspection Level II training course and current basic qualifications. Three (3) or more years’ experience as an aviation inspector. Valid Driver’s License. As a Capture Manager at Amentum, you will drive strategy, planning, and execution for high-value business opportunities in the Intelligence Community (IC). Leveraging your deep customer knowledge, competitive insights, and capture acumen, you will own the end-to-end capture process, shaping RFPs, refining win strategies, managing proposal development, and driving toward successful contract awards. Customer Intimacy & Opportunity Shaping Build and maintain relationships with IC stakeholders to understand their plans, objectives, and mission needs. Shape opportunities pre-RFP by influencing technical and operational requirements to align with Amentum’s capabilities. Leverage existing customer networks and relationships to identify opportunities and strengthen Amentum’s position in key pursuits. Capture Execution Lead capture activities from strategy development through contract award, managing bid strategies, resource allocation, and team oversight. Define and oversee the development of win strategies, solution architectures, pursuit discriminators, and price-to-win analyses. Collaborate across BD, technical teams, and teammates to develop compliant, compelling, and executable proposal responses. Own and manage the capture plan, ensuring cross-functional buy-in and alignment across all proposal contributors. Teaming & Strategic Partnerships Identify and structure teaming agreements, integrating partner capabilities to address customer needs and fill identified technical or operational gaps. Conduct competitive analysis to strengthen Amentum’s positioning and develop ghosting strategies that differentiate from competitors. Proposal Leadership Guide and review proposal development activities, ensuring alignment with RFP requirements, evaluation criteria, and scoring priorities. Actively participate in color reviews, ensuring technical, management, and cost volumes reflect a cohesive, winning strategy. Oversee solution development efforts by coordinating input from SMEs, Solution Architects, and operational experts. Qualifications: Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph (U.S. Citizenship required). Experience: 5+ years of capture management experience, with a history of leading successful captures from $100M to $1B+ in value. Proven ability to develop win strategies, manage capture processes, and influence customer acquisition processes. Experience leading capture efforts for IC customers, including intimate knowledge of IC-specific acquisition practices such as FEDSIM. Experience leading capture efforts for the Maryland Procurement Office. Skills & Knowledge: Strong customer engagement and networking skills within the Intelligence Community. Strategic thinker with the ability to develop innovative win strategies and solutions. Competence with Shipley frameworks and managing gate reviews (Strategy, Bid, Proposal). Exceptional oral, written, and presentation skills. The Cyber Operations Planner will support U.S. Fleet Cyber Command Pacific (FCC PAC), Joint Force Headquarters – Cyber (JFHQ-C) (Navy) Forward (FWD), and JFHQ-C (Navy) FWD by providing provide expertise in Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO) planning to meet mission objectives. Planning activities include those activities required to support the execution of deliberate and dynamic mission requirements. Duties and Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth analysis of cyber threat intelligence, including emerging malware, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors. Collect, evaluate, and fuse intelligence from diverse sources, including open-source intelligence (OSINT), signals intelligence (SIGINT), human intelligence (HUMINT), and technical intelligence (TECHINT). Identify correlations and patterns to enhance situational awareness and predictive analysis. Assess the potential impact of cyber threats on network infrastructure and operations. Collaborate with cyber defense teams to develop and implement mitigation strategies and countermeasures. Provide intelligence support during cyber incident response activities, including analysis of indicators of compromise (IOCs), attribution of cyber-attacks, and identification of adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs). Develop Targets through Advanced Target development to achieve vetted and validated COCOM level targets for mission package execution. Conduct Mission Analysis process and know and be able to support intelligence preparation of the battlespace to support operational planning and entity of interest development for further technical analysis. This position may require up to 10% travel. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in cyber security, Information systems, Information Technology, or other related discipline or equivalent experience. An active Top Secret/SCI with CI poly is required. Candidates who do not meet these requirements will not be considered. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance. Any combination of 10 years of military and/or government professional experience supporting a cyber or cryptologic mission.
