Leidos seeks a Supply Technician to support NASA’s organizations. This position provides administration and leadership to the logistics/Property Office.
Overview:
Executes and manages changes in the NASA Property System and the Contractor’s Property tool to include keeping and maintaining support documents that justifies the changes made.
Provides NASA & Contractor Management support with data calls, analyzing from multiple systems, preparing, and updating reports and presentations, metrics analysis and processes to meet stakeholder’s needs and requirements.
Plans and executes NASA & Contractor physical inventory campaigns. Generates monthly reconciliation reports and adjusts equipment records in the NASA Property System & Contractor’s Property tool appropriately and when necessary. Documents inventory campaign results and submits to stakeholders.
Performs equipment spot audits for Contractor Accountable Property with Custodian & End User support and provides audit results to required stakeholders.
Develops and delivers property training to Contractor Property Custodians and End Users, when needed.
Duties / Responsibilities:
Ensures compliance with Government regulations and contract obligations.
Maintains and improves inventory and logistics control of equipment processes and systems.
Maintains much equipment tracking and reporting tools for transfer, disposal, and inventory of equipment.
Provides management support with data calls, reports, and audits.
Back-up to the Manager when needed.
Duties will also include Team Lead for Custodians and receivers as well as the SAP Super User database administration, CHATS and NESS Reporting.
Required Qualifications:
High School diploma and 4 year relevant experience.
Basic computer knowledge and use is required.
Knowledge of Windows Office tools is highly recommended - Word, Excel.
Good communication skills - oral and written.
US Citizenship is required and able to obtain at minimum Public Trust clearance.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to effectively research and solve problems and issues pertaining to NASA Property/Equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge and familiarity with NASA SAP, Remedy.
Government FARs.
NASA Property Processes and Procedures.
