The Leidos Digital Modernization Sector is seeking a qualified and trained Computer Engineer for a role in an engineering support services program for U.S. Army customers at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD. The Computer Engineer is responsible for performing the software engineering function, including the design, development, testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of software programs for enhancements and new software- intensive systems and products to bring about the successful completion of the CYBERTRON program goals and objectives.
The CYBERTRON program delivers highly skilled engineering services to the U.S. Army C5ISR Center in their mission of cybersecurity research and development and cryptographic modernization.

Your Role and Responsibilities As a Computer Engineer
Provides professional engineering that requires primarily the application of knowledge to:
(1) fundamentals and principles of professional engineering
(2) computer hardware, systems software, and computer system architecture and integration
(3) mathematics, including calculus, probability, statistics, discrete structures, and modern algebra.
Which pertains primarily to the research, design, development, testing, evaluation, and maintenance of computer hardware and software systems in an integrated manner.
Basic Qualifications
Must be a US Citizen and possess a Secret Clearance
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering/technical discipline or 10+ years of relevant experience.
Appropriate DoD 8750 certification (Security+ or higher).
Have experience in a variety of software programming languages.
Have experience in a variety of business systems and applications.
Requires expert knowledge of and ability to apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts.
Preferred Qualifications:
Eligible for TS / SCI
Experience supporting Army programs
Clearance Required:
Must possess an active DoD Secret clearance at time of consideration
