The Opportunity

The Leidos Intelligence Sector is seeking a highly skilled Analytic Methodologist (Strategy Synchronization) - Senior, to support the USCYBERCOM J2 mission, to support the development, synchronization, and execution of analytic strategies across the Defense Intelligence Enterprise (DIE). The analyst will play a critical role in resolving key intelligence mission-driven requirements, ensuring analytical efforts remain coordinated, integrated, and aligned with enterprise objectives. This position requires strong analytic acumen, the ability to work with ambiguous information, and a talent for designing methodologies, structuring data, and supporting robust data visualization efforts.

Contract Status: Proposal Phase/Contingent Upon Award.
Security Clearance: Active DoD TS/SCI with Polygraph required. We are not able to sponsor the clearance requirement.
What you'll be doing:
Support the development of analytic strategies designed to answer key intelligence mission requirements for the Defense Intelligence Enterprise, ensuring all analytic efforts remain synchronized across all echelons. Work with ambiguous or incomplete information to deconstruct key analytic questions, recommend innovative methodologies, develop data schemas for structured observation, and support visualization of complex or dynamic data sets for effective decision-making.
Provide expertise in the development of the intelligence support framework for the Defense Intelligence Enterprise for cyber (DIE-C), including activities aimed at promoting and enabling J2 synchronization and integration at the strategic, operational, and tactical levels. Plan, guide, coordinate, and support the execution of long-term growth strategies for the DIE-C, enabling analytic maturity and strategic alignment with organizational goals. Identify, coordinate, and deconflict analytic processes to accelerate the maturation and effectiveness of the DIE-C at all organizational levels, ensuring integrated and efficient operations. Collaborate with stakeholders, intelligence professionals, and leadership to ensure analytic strategies are well-integrated and support mission priorities. Document Operational Instructions (OIs) for command-wide programs and initiatives as assigned by the Government, ensuring the dissemination of best practices and standardized analytic processes.
Needed Experience, Skills, and Education:
Minimum 12 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
Master’s degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education; or have Bachelor’s degree related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and an additional 5 years of related senior experience, for a total of 17 years, as a substitute to the Master’s degree. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education:
Deep familiarity with USCYBERCOM organizational structure and mission.
Prior experience supporting Joint operations across multiple warfighting domains.
Knowledge of overall Cyberspace trends, analysis, and operations.
Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative methodologies and pursue developments in academia or other fields that affect tradecraft methodology.
