The Intelligence Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a Senior DevOps Engineer in Herndon, Virginia. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience supporting the DIA’s SITE III JIOC mission.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with a Scrum team to develop and enhance enterprise systems.
• Apply best practices in architecture design, data science, cloud services, and DevSecOps.
• Automate testing and integration using Open Source and COTS tools.
• Develop and integrate bug fixes and new features using tools like Java, Git, and Junit.
REQUIRED Clearance: Active TS/SCI with polygraph, or TS with SCI eligibility and ability to obtain a polygraph
Required Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s degree in an area applicable to the position with 12+ years of relevant experience OR a Master’s degree with 10 years of relevant experience OR a PhD with 8 years of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of experience maybe considered in lieu of a degree requirement.
• Current 8570 IAT Level II or higher cert such as CompTIA Security+ CE for Privileged User Access (PUA)
• Programming Language Experience including – but not limited to – Java, Python (Poetry, Flask, etc.) and JavaScript (emphasis on React ecosystem libraries)
• AWS technologies: Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, DocumentDB,
• Experience using modern techniques such as REST, JSON, Spring, Spring Boot, JavaScript frameworks (e.g., JQuery, Angular, React), and Docker
Desired Qualifications:
• Experience using Git, Jenkins, Gitlab.
