The Gas BusinessEnablement (GBE) project is a major long-term investment in our US gas businessto enhance compliance, improve customer service, rate case strategy andperformance. This newly created project will be a significant undertakingfor the business as we standardize and simplify our operational processes,upgrade the technical systems they run on, build on our compliance programs ina rapidly changing external environment, develop and enhance how we usetechnology in the field and ensure we have the right talent and resource plansto successfully deliver to our customers.
Reporting into theChange Management Office (CMO) and either retained centrally or outsourced tothe relevant program Work streams, the Associate Program Manager roles forChange Management will support the development, integration and delivery ofchange initiatives as part of the GBE program, outlined within the CMO toolkit.
This exciting new positionoffers an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong business acumen,excellent organizational skills to take on the opportunity to really immerse themselvesinto the significant change agenda within the GBE Program and simultaneouslygain a deep understanding of the US gas business.
·Serves as an active member of theCMO, participating in the development and execution of change activities eithercentrally or locally within the Work Stream.
·Identify change management andproject issues as they arise, prepare recommendations/ change interventions toaddress the issue in a timely manner and implement as directed
·Participate in the administrationof a change management evaluation methodology for the assigned initiative
·Assist in the development anddesign of various change strategies across Training, Engagement, BusinessReadiness, Leadership development, Sustainment, Post Go Live Support etc
·Develop communications andengagement activities in line with GBE Program messaging and Opportunitystatement to establish clear consistent messaging for the GBE program
·Coordinate with CMO to understand andsupport relevant execution of Work stream level activities
·Coordinate with CMO to ensureWorkstream alignment with CMO plan
·Understanding & knowledge ofeffectively managing organizational change
·Knowledge of the principles andpractices of effective Project Management
·Engages stakeholders understandingof stakeholder management strategies
·Effective collaboration andpartnership capabilities
·Ability to align the outputs fromreviews with change management strategies
·Good organisational skills and anability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
·Good Oral and written communicationskills
·Proven experience of managing risksand issues across projects , Programs
·Good influencing skills
·Results driven yet self-aware
·Strong team collaboration skills
·Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint,Excel
·Working knowledge of MS Project anasset
Knowledge &Experience Requirements:
·Understanding of the Gas Utilitybusiness
·Hands on experience in ProjectManagement, Certification a plus
·Bachelor?s Degree or equivalentworking knowledge, in Organizational development, Training & Development,Human Resources, Leadership or other related area
·Experience of designing andimplementing stakeholder engagement strategies
·Experience in leading or supportingthe overall change management effort across the Program agenda engagementchange efforts
