This position will manage security operations for a portion of the Integrated Warfare Systems and Sensors (IWSS) Line of Business portfolio under the Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) Business Area. Major site locations include, but may not be limited to, domestic facilities in Baltimore, MD; Washington, DC; Marinette, WI; Bothell, WA and Hampton, VA as well as international facilities supporting our operations in LM Canada and LMUK. The successful candidate may choose to operate out of either the RMS facility in Washington, DC, or Baltimore (Middle River), MD. As the Security Manager overseeing these operations, the successful candidate will be responsible for the identification, co-development, implementation and management of the organization?s overall security strategies and programs, as well as oversight and implementation of the U.S. and international Industrial Security Programs. This position will report to the IWSS LOB Senior Security Manager located in Moorestown, NJ. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
? In an ethical and professional manner, provide Security and Emergency Services leadership and oversight for assigned IWSS operations and facilities; includes oversight of contracted guard forces.
? Implement Crisis Management Plans, Workplace Violence Prevention programs, Resource Protection Planning and Operations, and Investigations/Counterintelligence programs.
? Manage a Security and Emergency Services budget.
? Ensure availability of multi-disciplinary Security resources in supporting multiple programs in a fast-paced business environment.
? Develop talent in multiple security disciplines and develop the next generation of Security leaders to support succession planning.
? Oversee and provide security related inputs to business proposals, provide cost, schedule and government program security requirements to capture managers, and assist in the set up and operation of new classified operations.
? Support Enterprise Level Security projects and assignments, as required
? Maintain effective relationships with business leadership, functional counterparts, government contracting activities, federal oversight and partnering agencies and locally supporting law enforcement activities.
? Study and implement federal security regulations that apply to company and program operations. Develop and execute security programs associated with the protection of proprietary information in compliance with corporate policies.
? Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance and access to special programs
? Thorough understanding of the National Industrial Security Program
? Experience in developing and implementing security strategies, and managing domestic and/or international security teams/operations
? Demonstrated ability in establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers, employees and teammates
? Effective verbal and written communication skills
? Experience preparing resources and coordinating activities necessary to support government and customer Security program compliance vulnerability assessments
? Ability to obtain a US Passport and travel internationally
? Final in-scope Top Secret Security Clearance
? Working knowledge of LM Security automated processes and procedures
? Familiarization with Crisis Management Planning in either government or industry
