This position supports the Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle Human-Systems Integration (HSI) activities. The candidate will apply human factors principles, methodologies, and technologies to the design of human-machine hardware systems and products, supporting activities such as: human engineering requirements interpretation, hardware design support, human engineering analyses, and human-in-the-loop evaluations. The candidate will support evaluations in such areas as anthropometry/biomechanics, vehicle architecture, crew interface usability, and other elements of spacecraft interior design.
? Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or Human Factors Psychology
? Human Factors Engineering practitioner who has experience with designing and conducting usability tests and task analyses
? Effective, proven communications and presentations skills
? Demonstrated pro-activeness
