Essential Job Functions:

  • Verbally brief, instruct, and physically demonstrate use of simulator systems to the customer base.
  • Use current tactical doctrine to organize computer generated forces, plan offensive or defensive operations, as required; execute command and control for both manned simulators and computer generated forces, their movement and maneuver, fire support, and other military aspects of a battle to successfully achieve customer based training objective.
  • Uses specialized computer software and/or hardware to develop, integrate and edit instructional text, audio, graphics, animation and video for interactive presentations.
  • Employ appropriate programming/branching logic and screen layout and remediation/feedback techniques.
  • Implement quality control and review and revision procedures throughout the courseware development process.
  • Develop, write and present briefings to military and civil service personnel, and provide reports and other documents required by corporate management and staff.
  • Conducts Computer Based Trainer Specialist (CBTS/I) and Electronic Technician (E TECH) evaluation and certification.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be a high school graduate or possess equivalency diploma.
  • Preferred Graduate of either the US Army Combined Arms Staff Service School (CAS3), Officer or Warrant Officer Advanced Course, Primary or Advanced Non-Commissioned Officers Course, which included instruction in tactical operation of platoons, companies/troops and their support units.
  • Minimum of five years instructor/training experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Possess basic knowledge of the readiness checks, operator and preventive maintenance procedures required for the array of RVTT simulators.
  • Possess the skills and knowledge required to coordinate, provide guidance and assistance to training unit leaders and personnel in preparation for and execution of a RVTT exercise
  • Knowledgeable with site technical and operational staff functions, familiar with the software languages used in the simulation
  • Must currently possess at a minimum an Interim security clearance and be able to obtain/maintain an active/valid US security clearance.
  • Limited travel may be required to support other RVTT facilities worldwide.
  • Communication skills to write training scenarios and procedures.
  • Presentation skills to train and educate employees and customers on technical material and applications.
  • Interpersonal skills for interacting with all levels of employees and customers. 

Work Environment:

  • This position is at a fixed facility or a mobile device that can move for short durations.
  • Must be able to travel to various locations.
