As a Software Engineer the candidate will be responsible for working within a team to develop real time application and test bench application software for the Missile Technology Insertion (MTI) program.
Basic Qualifications
Ideal candidates will have experience with C/C++, Python, Perl, and Java. The position requires a BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. A DOD Top Secret security clearance is required.
Working knowledge of modern C++ design and Real Time Operating Systems (i.e. VxWorks, Greenhills Integrity, RTsecure).
Candidates will be responsible for design, development, documentation, testing and debugging software applications. Candidates must be able to apply the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle.
Desired skills
Experience in developing life cycle documentation: Development plans, Architectures, Test Plans, Test Procedures, Test Reports
Familiarity with Ada is a plus but not required.
Experience developing board support packages (BSP) and drivers for Linux and VxWorks, for multiple host platforms
