Job Summary

We're looking for someone with 1-5 years of experience as a Refurbish Technician to join our team! In this role, you'll be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and restoring equipment to like-new condition. You'll work hands-on with hydraulic systems and use your troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve mechanical issues. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented technician who takes pride in quality workmanship.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, report, plan and then conduct service or repair with Hiab quality

  • Keep adequate records and maintain documentation in line with agreed standards

  • Make judgements about the most cost effective and efficient approach to providing service

  • Manage and protect the security and traceability of spare parts

  • Recognize sales opportunities and communicate those to Manager

  • Coach/tutor junior colleagues and trainees as necessary

  • Conduct self at all times in a way that promotes a positive image of the Hiab brand and follow rules of the Quality System

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent required

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a technical discipline or sufficient product knowledge

  • Appropriate diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

  • Good hands-on skills as required for relevant mechanical, hydraulic and electronic operations

  • Able to safely operate equipment for the purpose of conducting tests and repair

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google email and SAP
