What’s a typical day as Janitor? You’ll be:
- Maintaining and keeping the office building or similar facility clean and orderly
- Performing routine maintenance functions such as cleaning, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming
- Emptying trash containers and ensuring all areas remain presentable and sanitary
- Reporting to the facilities or maintenance supervisor
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping roles (preferred but not required)
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Are detail-oriented and take pride in maintaining clean workspaces
- Can work independently and follow routine cleaning schedules
- Are able to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, and lifting as needed
